Counsellor, Professional Supervisor, Educator

Certified Bereavement Practitioner

Phot Louise.png

I have over two decades of experience in counselling.  I have a wealth of experience working for community organisations and in private practice in areas such as grief, loss, bereavement, relationships, family violence, crisis intervention, chronic and terminal illness.  I have also worked with carers whose lives are affected by dementia, mental health issues and disability.

I am committed to compassionate, ethical, respectful and person-centred practice and bring this to all my work with clients. I am passionate about reducing social stigmas within the community so people can live free from prejudice and exclusion.

I have a special interest in grief and loss and I support my clients to explore and navigate their individual grief journey and help them to discover ways to live and cope with loss and adapt to life.

I am also a qualified trainer and assessor and have developed and presented workshops for organisations including the Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement (ACGB).  I have also taught at the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP) and delivered the Graduate Certificate course in Bereavement Counselling & Interventions for ACGB.
